Welcome
God has a plan for each of us. Sometimes it leads where we least expected. He beckons us to follow Him…on a road less traveled…HOME.

What We Do

We love to make delicious and healthy whole food plant based (WFPB) meals, grow a huge garden, pick berries and even make maple syrup from trees in the woods behind our home. Our meals consist of vegetables, legumes, fruits, juices, whole grains, limited oil and refined sugar – packed with flavor, affordable, seasonal where possible, as fresh & local as we can. We’ll share resources we’ve found helpful and the reasons we’ve embarked on this path.

We learn at home and ‘do life’ together. Making a home of wherever we are, growing a garden, mastering skills, discovering truth and beauty. We will go wherever trying to make a difference takes us on a road less traveled. This is us…visit our blogs and relive some of the adventures we’ve had together with our family and friends.

Keep readingWhy we love having olive wood from Jimmy’s Bazaar in our home.
The Bible is full of references to the olive tree and its oil as powerful symbols of the source of peace and healing. We like to choose handmade art and other items made from natural materials for our home…to remind us on a daily basis of what matters most. Each carving is unique, made in Bethlehem – provided by our friend at Jimmy’s Bazaar in Jerusalem – connecting our home in a tangible way to the One we seek to follow and the holy land He called home.
