Description
A hand-carved, intricate figure of Noah’s Ark riding over the Great Flood from Genesis, showing Noah along with several animals. From the story’s earliest days, it was a symbol of God’s justice and His invitation to prepare by securing oneself according to His instructions with His powerful protection, bringing in both. Early Christians used it as a type of the Church built according to God’s instructions, sealed shut from the dangers of the world, divinely preserved, and filled with both righteous and wicked Christians (like ritually clean and unclean animals) who would be judged at the end of time .
This carving is a delicate reminder of God’s justice, protection, and the safety He offers through Christ. Offered with permission and in partnership with Jimmy’s Bazaar in Jerusalem, Israel.
